Yong Sport Academy made it into the top three of the National Elite One Championship standing with a hard earned victory over Union Movement Sportive (UMS) of Loum in Bamenda last Sunday in a match counting for the 5th day of play.

The lone goal was scored by Mogou Ghislain at the 84th minute from a close range header assisted by Kongnyuy Jude with a cross from the right flank. Both sides had played a very close game for over 80 minutes with chances far between.

Kamgue Justin, head coach of Yosa attributed the tight nature of the game to the fact that six of his former players were now putting on the jersey for UMS, and knew Yosa’s play style very well, but “ the better team carried the day” he said.

In the starting line up for UMS were Atuh Henry, Abah John, Formi Brilliant and Monthe Romeo all former players of YOSA.
