Yosa shares Spoils At Home Against Apejes

Yosa vs Apejes
A missed penalty in the first half, a shot on the cross bar and a last minutes double save from goalkeeper Mbarga Javier were all it took to deny Yosa a home victory this afternoon March 29, 2015 against Apejes of Mfou in the Bamenda in a match counting for the 8th day of play in the national elite one championship.
It also took the alertness of Ngam Leonard at goal for Yosa after sitting out 4 games to keep Yosa in the game after he saved a close range effort by Ambella Simon who was set through midway in the second half, just minutes after coming in.
Yosa had wasted the best chance of the game early on when Kongnyuy Jude hit the upright from the penalty spot in the opening five minutes of the match. From there on, Yosa rode on their luck, wasting several opportunities. Veteran midfielder, Nkambfu Gilbert playing only his first game of the season almost got his side ahead when he hit the crossbar again at the 60th minute from a free kick 24 metres out.
Substitute Ojong Ekuri thought he got the winner two minutes into additional time but Mbarga Javier super stretched to push his header over the line for a corner.

Ojong Ekuri
“I feel very very bad, but it’s a game of football, we just have to push it and push it to the end and I believe that in the next game we are going to be victorious, today was just not our day” Ojong Ekuri said after the game.
For Kamgue Justin it was just not Yosa’s day and there are days like this that everything you do is not enough he said.

Kamgue Justin
kamgue had visibly adjusted his team from the game in Garoua, dropping Makolle, Herman Talla, Tchangue Alex, Kombou Fanedou and Mokoko completely out of the team sheet while dropping keeper Tonye, Akosemoh Theodore, Ellon Maxwell, Ojong Ekuri and Kwahtong Gerard to the bench and bringing in Nkambfu Gilbert, Koyonha Isioma, Mawobe Ntouba, lavier Berinyuy and Ngam leonard into the starting lineup and despite a good showing by his charges, luck was not to smile on him today.
Yosa now counts 13 points and climbs up to the 4th position.
