Les Brasseries Joins Schools Against Covid-19

The items were handed over to the principals of the institutions, Azeh David Mofor and Mrs Awuro Estella in brief ceremonies held on the various campuses, Thursday June 18.

Both principals expressed profound thanks to Les Brasseries for helping them fight against the monster and protecting the health of the students and teachers and their families back at home.

Chi Francis, senior Chief of commercial Les Brasseries praised the courage of the teachers and students of these schools .
“It’s in challenging moments that we see those that are ready to lead” These schools are quality schools reasons why many still chose them at such difficult moments. Les Brasseries is still active despite the Anglophone crisis and the covid-19 pandemic because it produces quality products consume by cameroonians of all ages.

“We care about the health of our consumers and can not be indifferent to their wellbeing at such difficult moment…we are only fulfilling part of our corperate social responsibility” he added, calling on others, companies and individuals to give back to the communities where the operate.

He advised that only preventive measures can help us against covid 19. “Covid-19 is above the USA and China, two super powers, so who are we?” He wondered aloud. He call on the students in particular to strictly observe the barrier measures put in place to break the chain of transmission.

At each school, the Les Brasseries team handed over two 1000 litre tap containers and a metallic foot stand to carry it, 50 face masks, five one litre achohol based hand sanitizers, two non contact infrared thermometer, 50 packs of assorted soft drinks and 10 pack of mineral water.

This donation to PCHS Bamenda and GBHS Bamendakwe follows similar ones by Les Brasseries to the major markets in Bamenda I, II and III, some major hospitals and the prison.

SABC group is an indegenous Cameroonian company made up of SOCAVER ( biggest manufacturer of glass products in the central African subregion) Les Brasseries du Cameroun( largest brewery company in Africa) and Tangui ( Cameroon leading water bottling company).

The team from Les Braseries was also comprised of Colday Honored Chief of Centre, Taboning Anderson and Biwie Pascaline, Area managers, Ngwani Jackson, Supervisor of Animation and Kubri Godfrey, Market Developer.
