The meeting examined ways to improve on participatory project execution with the council and the population notably in the crisis context in Bamenda. The common worry for most of the quarter heads was the deplorable state of roads in the municipality, inavailability of pipe borne water, access to electricity and unemployment amongst the youth.

The Bamenda II Council has earmarked the sum of over 640 million frs to be used for development projects in 2021.

The Director General of MIDENO Cletus Anye Matoya used the event to enlighten the councillors and quarter heads on the workings of the regional council and the new decentralization order.
