Ashia Cameroon,  a Child centered humanitarian NGO, has handed over to the authorities of catholic School Bali,  two constructed ICT halls,  each stuffed with 24 Dell and HP laptops and printers  and two classrooms and toilet facilities to Presbyterian Primary School Tikali, in two separate ceremonies that took place at the respective schools Friday December 13, 2013.

“This marvelous ICT centre is not only to teach pupils of this school, but is open to those of other primary schools in Bali who lack such a facility” said a visibly very happy Legima Sylvia Head teacher of C.S. Bali town.

“This would go a long way to ease our task. We have ICT on our curriculum but I must confess that we have never had any class because of lack of PCs. Today we don’t just have ordinary PCs but modern and portable laptops, portable DVD drives, printers and more” she continued.

Several pupils rushed into the ICT centre as soon as the equipment were installed. Some final year pupils had the privilege to work on the machines for the first time in their lives.

“I never thought I would work on a PC in my life, but today I have typed a letter to my friend” Edna Andin, a class six pupil confessed to us.
