This is the first challenge Yosa has to overcome to be able to beat Coton Sport in Garoua. There are many who think that this is the reason why Coton Sport is easily the Champions of Cameroon years after years because by the time teams from the south reach up north they are already too exhausted and Coton Sport just help beat the rest of it out of them.

But you will be tempted to ask why not Coton Sport that travels south all the time? The answer to this is that Coton Sport is by far richer than the rest of the elite one teams and always travel south by plane which many of these teams can’t afford.

Since arriving Garoua on Friday evening, the players quickly jumped into their showers to wash off the hours of accumulated sweat before a brief reunion with the delegation leader Mr. Terence

“Coton Sport invincibility is a myth; they are just an ordinary team as any other. Engage this match as the rest…” Mr. Terence told them, after a brief prayer offered by the players.

The players  had a slight warm up before their super followed by live interviews over Rush FM Radio by Jude, Madjo, Akosemoh and Mogou.  As they left for their respective rooms, the coach Kamgue Justin rang out his final warnings. “Do not drink iced water, do not fight the heat with cold. The best solution for the heat is heat” he advised them.

At this time the temperature was a soaring 34 degrees. It was a difficult night for some, while Ojong Ekuri retired to his room to watch a French league One match on TV, Ellon Maxwell, Nyokon, Mogou Ghislain,  Makolle, Tchanguen Alex, Moukoko and  Ngogang Stephane decided to watch the match at the bar interchanging with a soap opera.
