The remains of the Bishop was found at this river

Information is filtering out that the Holy See had sent two emissaries to Yaoundé accompanied by a forensic expert as the Vatican seeks more clarifications from the Cameroonian authority following the presumed assassination of one of theirs,  Bishop Jean Marie Benoit Balla of the Bafia Diocese.

Vincent Sosthene Fouda, a Catholic Christian and concern Cameroonian has put up a legal team led by Bar. Meli Tiakouang to launched a civil party to the case and are bent to lay bare the truth surrounding his mysterious death. He announced on his facebook page that two envoys from the Vatican arrived the country last week accompanied by a forensic expert who had a last examination of the late Bishop’s corpse.

He expressed his surprise why such vital information was never communicated to the public by either the government or the National Episcopal Council. He further adds that six Bishops were due to meet the President today after holding a meeting over the weekend in Mvolye – Yaounde. The president had reportedly met with seven other Bishops in his native Mvomeka alongside the delegation from the Vatican at the sideline of the President’s sister’s in-law funeral

Vincent Sosthene Fouda leader of the Cameroon Movement for Social Democracy writes he is particularly involved in the tragic disappearance of Bishop Jean-Marie Benoît Bala, and believes he was assassinated in the morning of June 2, 2017 two days and three nights after being abducted. He also questions why the ecclesiastical province of Yaoundé took long to react as soon as it was informed of the disappearance of Jean-Marie Benoît Bala.
