It always looked a one man race or better still “David against Goliath” when erstwhile FECAFOOT Scribe Tombi A Roko Sidiki and Atah Robert, deputy National  Technical Director of  football where pitted against each other in the final sprint for the top job at the Cameroon FA.

Results after today’s conclave indicates a landslide victory for Tombi A Roko who grabbed 59 votes against two for his opponent with three null votes, eight abstentions and three absentees recorded.

Today’s election brings to an end the close to two years transitional period of the Standardization Committee that was set up by FIFA and run by Prof. Joseph Owona. It also marks an end to the bitter acrimony that existed between the various aspirants to that throne during the transitional period.
