Work going on at a new site for RUFA stadium Bali

 Rush Football Academy (RUFA) Bali has launched the construction of  of a10 000 seater capacity modern football Stadium at the Mboh Muyangka neigbourhood in Bali expected to host games in the future for Rush FC, and its sister club Phoenix FC, all Division Two sides in the Northwest regional League.

Construction work that started two months ago will run into phases, with the first phase expected to be over before the start of the next football season, and gradually developing the site into a modern state of the art football faccility intended to  promote local talent and boast the level of the game in the region as a whole.

Maitre Soppo Ngwa, president of RUFA, said "the lack of good and modern pitches are a hinderence to the development and practice  of the game in the region and I think, this venture could be an eye oppener and pave the way for many more in the days to come"

RUFA and Phoenix FC currently use the Bali Ntankok Goverment School Field which is far below standard, is not fenced and has a very poor playing surface.

Upon completion, the stadium would boast of a natural grass pitch, a partially covered stand, dressing rooms, offices, shops and parking lot.
