NWD2: Tatecam, Bang Bullets book place in last 4

Tatecam vs rainbow

Tatecam vs rainbow

Bang Bullets FC of Nkambe and Tatecam FC of Bamenda have qualified for the semi finals of the Northwest mini inter-pool after recording identical one-nil victories over Nkambe FC and Rainbow FC this afternoon at the Bamenda Municipal Stadium.

It took 115 minutes to break the deadlock in the first match of the day. The lone goal of the encounter which was a fairly balance one between the two Nkambe sides came in from the penalty spot in the second segment of additional time. Both sides created very few chances and resulted to the kick and run style with a rather average outcome.

The second game was more entertaining. Rainbow was the better organized side but was too stylish in their approach while Tatecam were more pragmatic and purposeful. Barely 22 minutes into the game, Tatecam capitalized on a defensive flop by Rainbow and break the deadlock. Thence, they continue to mount pressure, missing an opportunity to kill the game from the penalty spot early in the second half and forcing the game to a tense end.
