Les Brasseries Gives Another Push To PWD Bamenda

As the MTN Elite Two moves into a decisive phase, the challenge for the management of PWD Bamenda to achieve its target for an Elite One ticket is becoming more and more obvious. This has not gone unnoticed as Cameroon’s leading brewery company SABC popular known as Les Brasseries has given an extra motivation to the team that could help see it through these challenges.

Les Brasseries yesterday supported PWD Bamenda with water to take them through the reminder of the season.  Mr. Chi Francis, Chief of Marketing and Publicity at the Bamenda Distribution Centre of  Les Brasseries handed over to the team management 50 palettes of 1.5 litres of Tangui mineral water,  comprising of 6 bottles each per palette.

Mr. Chi Francis said the gesture was to support the efforts of the executive committee of the Team that has been doing a great job to see the PWD promoted into the Elite One.

Present to receive the gift for PWD was team President Abunde Pascal, accompanied by his SG Ambe Nicasius Cheo and Aliwoh Francis (Alias Sakis)

The 50 palettes of Tangui Water for PWD

Earlier on Tuesday April 10, the President announced during the Ordinary General Meeting of the Club that PWD need some 92 million frs to see it through this season if they are to meet their ambition of an Elite One Ticket. This amount is only a draft budget and the team and supporters need to work hard to achieve this amount.

“Little drops of water makes the ocean” President Abunde said and its with such support like that of Les Brasseries that we will reach our goal.

Meanwhile fans and supporters have been helping the team and players with regular supports if they win their matches.  With more of such promised for a win over league leaders Canon of Yaounde  on Monday. So Far the team stands to get an extra 80,000 frs for a win on Monday beside the bonuses promised by the President for a win.

PWD will be training this morning at the Big Mankon Stadium before travelling tonight for Yaounde. The Play Canon of Yaoundé on Monday at 3:30 pm at the Fecafoot centre in Odza.

The last time PWD played in Odza they beat Tonnerre 1-0
