Douala: Missing Girl Could be Lesbian on the Run

Press reports from Douala say the 23 years old girl that was declared missing by the family over two weeks ago could be a homosexual escaping from the law.  Sweet FM, a local radio station said  neigbours of Valarie Zifha in the Bonaberi neighbourhood were convinced that the numerous police visits to the Mahop residence and late night patrol hinted of something more than just the search of a missing over aged girl.

These revelations came to light when a close neighbour who preferred to remain anonymous was quoted as saying she was asked by the police Inspector to say Mahop Valerie was emotionally close to her in exchange for a financial reward, this after she was asked if she could identify another girl that was with Valarie in pictures with another girl  recovered from her room.

The police according to Sweet FM have refused to comment on their investigation or on allegations that they are on a manhunt for Valarie, a presumed lesbian. Family members the radio reported have also backtracked from their initial willingness to engage with the press and have refused to make any public statement since.

It would appear the police are pursuing another lead after a tip off by a resident of the neigbourhood leading them to believe that the missing girl is in Buea, Southwest Region where her supposed partner, a certain Manka Ebika formerly resides. Reports said Manka Ebika eventhough in absentia is wanted by the police for interrogation about her actions with Valarie as lovers.

These revelations came to light when a close neighbour who preferred to remain anonymous was quoted as saying she was asked by a police Inspector to say Mahop Valerie was emotionally close to her in exchange for a financial reward, this after she was asked if she could identify another girl that was with Valarie in pictures with another girl  recovered  when police search her room.

If convicted to be a lesbian, Valarie Zifha would be charged under section 347 of the Penal Code that clearly forbids same sex acts and could face time in jail for up to five years and with fine of up to 200,000 francs CFA. Meanwhile some of the neighbours have said if she is found to be a lesbian, she would no longer be welcomed to the neighbourhood.

Last week, the Cameroonian Foundation for AIDS (CAMFAIDS) reported that a Roman Catholic priest was arrested and detained in Yaounde on charges of trying to pay another man for sex in what appeared to have been a scam by the police to extort money from him. There are increasing number of cases being reported of the police and gendarmes and even members of the general public using section 347 of the Penal Code to extort money from gays and lesbians who are regarded as disgusting and pervert in.

Homos are the scum of the earth and should be extinguished. How on earth do we tolerate such deviant behaviour.
